The foundation of the Lila Group was laid with the cotton gin and weaving business established by the Öğücü family in 1930. In one hundred years Lila Group has grown steadily and has now become one of Turkey’s leading group companies.

In the 60s and 80s, it operated mainly in the fields of yarn production and cotton fabric under different names; In the 90s the Marmara Cotton Textile has become Turkey’s largest integrated cotton and yarn dyeing plant. Since the 2000s, by evaluating the needs of our country, it has also turned to new areas with high added value, requiring advanced technology such as energy and sanitary paper sectors.

In order to meet the needs of the rapidly growing market of Turkey’s hygienic cleaning paper, Lila Tissue was founded in 2006 with 100% Turkish capital. Lila Group currently manufactures in the fields of roll paper production, FMCG, textile dyeing and energy in its modern campus in Çorlu.

It is among the leading companies with its brands and private label products, and exports paper and textile products to more than 80 countries in 5 continents. It aims to bring its brands to a leading position in their segments with its innovative products developed by prioritizing consumer needs and makes continuous investments in this direction. Placing among Turkey’s top 100 industrial companies is among the recent targets of Lila Group.

Career

Our human resources policy is to provide all our employees with an innovative and modern working environment within the framework of diversity and inclusion. We support an egalitarian and free working life by placing active communication between employees, not hierarchy, at the focus of our work culture.

Our priority in all our factories and offices is occupational safety and the health of our employees. To ensure this, our Occupational Health and Safety unit regularly conducts inspections and provides trainings. Our head office, which we call Lila Green House, is designed to encourage the creativity of the employees and allow them to move.

Thanks to this design that prioritizes functionality, our employees can freely use alternative spaces in the office to create the most suitable working environment for them. Leed Platinum certified natural and recyclable materials are preferred in our office designed with an environmental awareness and supported by up-to-date technological infrastructure.

A peaceful working environment is offered to our employees with our living plants, contemporary and ergonomic furniture that carry nature to our work areas and reflect our belief in sustainability.

A colorful and lively business life, full of social events, seminars, trainings and social responsibility activities, leads both in our factories and in our head office.

Sports activities such as football and sailing clubs that continue outside of working hours are also a part of our business understanding. In our head office, we offer our employees a pleasant working life with our social areas, cafeteria and terrace area where our employees can spend their free time.

In my opinion, our wall is always open to the opinions and suggestions of our employees, and the suggestions we receive enable new activities to participate in our social life. Employees’ development and career planning are made through annual performance meetings, in which individual targets are also followed in line with the company goals.

In our company, a job evaluation system, independent of position / title, based on various measurements regarding the content of the job, is applied and job sizes are evaluated on a level basis.

With the fee system supporting this, our aim is;

• To evaluate in accordance with the size of the business and the structure of the sector with a competitive and fair perspective, which supports the strategies of our company,

• To create wage bands suitable for the job levels of the relevant role, taking into account the internal balances within the determined policies.
